Premium Times reports that in his response to the appointive triumph of Godwin Obaseki of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the governorship decision in Edo state, Governor Adams Oshiomhole says it is a sign that the acclaimed back up parents in the state have been rendered frail.
He said Obaseki's accomplishment in the survey denoted the end of three outstanding government officials in the state. He gave their names as Raymond Dokpesi, Tom Ikimi, and Gabriel Igbinedion, all individuals from the Peoples Democratic Party.
Ikimi was a piece of the individuals who effectively guaranteed the combination of gatherings to frame the APC. He however left the gathering and joined the PDP just before the 2015 general decision.
Obaseki won the race in the wake of scoring 319,483 votes against Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the PDP, who scored 253,173 votes.
